These terms and conditions apply to the use of any website owned and operated by gentlebodycare.co.uk By accessing this website, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. " gentlebodycare.co.uk" is a trading company Gentle Beauty Co Ltd whose registered office is at 10 Thornsett Road, London SW18 4EN, UK. Company Registration 4323169.

" website" refers to any of the websites owned and operated by gentlebodycare.co.uk.

" net order value" is the total value of the order after deduction of any discounts, deals or special offers but before the deduction of any vouchers issued by gentlebodycare.co.uk. The net order value is used to calculate carriage and delivery charges.


The copyright to the contents of this website belongs to gentlebodycare.co.uk. Users may download, view and print materials for their own personal, non-commercial use.

General Conditions

All orders for goods shall be subject to these terms and conditions. No variation of these terms and conditions shall apply unless agreed in writing by gentlebodycare.co.uk.

gentlebodycare.co.uk guarantee that all goods on offer are accurately described on the website and are fit for their intended purpose. Should any product fail to meet our high standards it will be immediately replaced. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Over 18?

Please note that orders can only be accepted from customers who are 18 years or older. If you are under 18 years of age you are welcome to browse our website but regret that we are unable to accept any order from you.


Payment for goods ordered can be made by most major credit or debit cards except American Express and Diners Card.

In the event of payment being declined by your card issuer, gentlebodycare.co.uk shall not be responsible for any costs or inconvenience caused by a subsequent delay in despatch.

Delivery charges and methods - UK Mainland

We currently ship only to the UK and European destinations.

Postage rates are as follows:

For all UK bound orders, these can be sent either

Standard Delivery - 2nd Class Royal Mail Service. 

  • Total cost £2.20 for the entire order.
  • Royal Mail should deliver within 3 - 5 working days. See Lost Items below in the event of non-delivery.
  • This option is not trackable. Non-delivery must be reported within 7 days of placing the order.
  • Non-delivery? Please check with your local sorting office first. Occasionally postcards saying Tried To Deliver don't get through.


Standard Delivery - 1st Class Royal Mail Service. 

  • Total cost £2.90 for the entire order.
  • Royal Mail should deliver within 1 - 3 working days. See Lost Items below in the event of non-delivery.
  • This option is not trackable. Non-delivery must be reported within 7 days of placing the order.
  • Non-delivery? Please check with your local sorting office first. Occasionally postcards saying Tried To Deliver don't get through.


Guaranteed Next Day Delivery (excluding Saturdays)  - DPD Courier next working day delivery between 9am and 5pm. 

  • Total cost £8.00 for the entire order.
  • Orders for this service must be placed by 1 pm the previous working day.
  • Orders placed over a weekend will be processed and sent the following working Monday or in case of a Bank Holiday on a Tuesday.
  • Tracking details will be supplied by DPD via email or text.

You can select the shipping service you require for UK deliveries at the checkout.

For Eire and other European Destinations - prices from £15.00.

  • Orders will be sent with a nominated courier with tracking details emailed to you.
  • Allow up to 6 working days for delivery.
  • We do not offer a guaranteed next day delivery service to European destinations.
  • Non-delivery must be reported within 10 working days of placing the order.

We do not offer a guaranteed Saturday delivery for any destination.

We are not able to ship to Rest of the World.

Lost Items

Please inform us if you have not received your order within the expected time frame.

For items sent by Royal Mail, we will ask if you can check with your local sorting office first to see if they have the order for you. This applies even if you ask us to leave delivery instructions on your parcel.

For items sent either by Royal Mail 2nd or 1st Class Standard Delivery, we can only claim for lost items 15 working days after due date for delivery.

As a result, we will apply the 15 working days maxim to the date we dispatched your item via a Royal Mail service before we can resend or refund for your order.

For items we send with a courier we will advise of tracking details so you can track online.

We do not offer a guaranteed Saturday delivery for any destination.

We are not able to ship to Rest of the World.

*Guaranteed Next Day Delivery costs £8.00. Orders must be placed by 1 pm for next working day delivery. Orders placed on a Friday for Next Day delivery service will arrive on the following Monday or Tuesday if a Bank Holiday is in place.

Orders are sent with DPD Courier to UK destinations.

In general, orders are dispatched on the day after they are received, however, at busy times this may not be possible.

Please allow one week for delivery or up to 5 working days for UK Mainland orders sent by Royal Mail Second Class.

Orders will be dispatched through either: Royal Mail or a courier service such as DPD depending on the size of the order and destination.

Cancellation of Order

Under the Distance Selling Regulations, all UK customers have the right to cancel orders placed through a website within seven working days of their receipt of the goods. UK residents wishing to cancel an order under these Regulations should return the goods to

in their original packing and in their original condition.

Gentlebodycare.co will not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to goods returned in this way until they are received at the address above and we strongly recommend that returns are sent by Recorded Delivery or some other means of the tracked delivery system.

Once we receive the goods in re-saleable condition, a refund for their cost will be made to your credit/debit card.

Returns and Refunds

Thinking of returning an item?

If you would like to return an item that you have bought from us, you may do so at any point up to 28 days from when it was delivered. 

We accept most goods back as long as the product has not been opened and is in a re-saleable condition; for example, the item must have all its packaging, wrapping and tamper seals intact. If the product has been opened then it is deemed you have accepted the item and for this reason cannot necessarily be refunded for.

Please contact us first to info@gentlebeauty.co.uk  to advise us that you wish to return the item and return to the address on the front of the invoice. 

If we agree to the return you must then return it to us under the following conditions:

We will only accept unopened, unused goods for a refund.

You must return the products in their original packaging unopened.

You must return the products by Signed For Delivery either by Royal Mail or Courier.

Once your item is received by us and it meets the criteria above, we will apply a refund to the original method of payment for the value of the goods excluding delivery within 14 working days. For further information on our returns policy see below Important Information.

We are very confident about the products on our website, however, we are all individual and some ingredients may trigger sensitivities. We try to list all of the ingredients but if any are unavailable then please contact us and we will check for you.

We regret to inform that we are unable to offer a refund, credit or exchange if, after using the product, you find you are in any way sensitive to it or it is unsuitable for your needs. This does not affect your statutory rights.


Unfortunately, we are unable to offer product exchanges at this time, should you wish to exchange your item for another product, please arrange a return for the unwanted item and place an order online for the product you would like to buy.

Damaged Goods

Should an item arrive damaged, please contact us within 5 working days of delivery and we will be able to assist you. We regret that we are unable to acknowledge claims for damage should we be informed outside of this timescale. In the event of receiving damaged goods please contact us

Important information

1. All items returned to us for a refund must be new, unused and un-opened, returns that do not fulfill these criteria will be sent back to you at your cost. If included with your order, all product documentation, leaflets, and manuals must also be returned.

2. Without exception we are NOT able to accept the return of the following products for either refund or exchange:

  • Suncoat Soya Remover liquid
  • Suncoat Styling Products
  • Herbatint Shampoo, Conditioner  all sizes
  • Naturalmente Shampoo, Conditioner all sizes
  • Pearl Silk Powders

3. You may keep any free samples should these have been sent.

4. All returned goods will be examined upon receipt. For reasons of hygiene, we are unable to offer refunds, replacements or exchanges on any opened or used goods.

5. We will process your return as quickly as possible, no later than 7 working days after we have received the goods. Please note that delivery charges are not refunded. Without exception, we will not accept returns on open or used items, unless the item is faulty. Products on special offer or explicitly noted as non-returnable cannot be returned.

6. You are responsible for the safe return of the order to us, we advise you to obtain a proof of posting and for more valuable items, send on a ’signed for’ or insured postal service. Should your item be classified as faulty, we will reimburse you for the cost of postage or may arrange a collection of the goods for you within the UK.
